When celebrity chef Franz “The Power Chef” de Waal started his business in 2006 his name quickly became synonymous with simple, flavourful, elegant and high-quality food. In his own words: “Catering is all about the total experience — really good food, outstanding service, and value for money. What I call the Franz Twist.”

Franz and his team believe in using fresh ingredients in his dishes, and refuse to skimp on anything. While many catering companies will cut corners, use processed foods or inferior quality ingredients; Franz is a firm believer in quality at a reasonable price.

He doesn’t chase the quick buck. He’s in it for the long haul. He believes in developing long-lasting relationships. He believes in creating an unmistakable event experience that is synonymous with their name.

Our events

#HOTCATERERS works on many different size events from small intimate lunches, to company braais, canteen, banquets ranging from 30 people to 5000 people and stylish food stations to picnic packs and stadiums. The biggest event we have done was for 15 000 people; 6 cities at the same time.
